"Join the Historical Society and community for a 1950's Ice Cream Social.  Members will demonstrate how ice cream was made 40 years ago.  Ice cream will be provided by Oberweis Dairy, Bloomingdale 25 cent per scoop donation will reflect prices from the 1950's. Musical entertainment provided by the Elmhurst College Jazz Band.  All taking place on the grounds of the Historical House, located on the north side of Lies Road, just west of Gary, (adjacent to Hampe Park.)
