September 16, 2006: "Market Place - Trinkets and Treasures" 
Historic Farmhouse on Lies Road west of Gary
10:00am-3:00pm. 

A gorgeous September day at the Farmhouse as the Historical Society provided the always-popular tours of the house along with an Arts & Crafts fair, Friends of the Library Book Sale, and a "Trinket" Sale.

 A light lunch was sold by the society and there was hunting for treasure (in the sand), 'bags' game and tatoos for the children, along with a "Treasure Chest".
