Home About Us History Upcoming Events Membership Board Displays Memory Book Photos/Past Events "Something Old" Links Contact Us	October 4, 2009: "Autumn Golden Memories Tea" The Historical Society hosted their annual autumn tea on Sunday, October 4th from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the Historic Farmhouse. In keeping with the 50th Anniversary, this year’s themewas Golden Memories. Guests were asked to bring with them cherished accessories such as jewelry or small items of any kind which they have saved over the years that have special meaning that they can share with the group. Attendees were also treated to a fashion show of reproduction period clothing designed and sewn by a local Carol Stream young lady. Menu: Special teas and coffee, assorted scones for appetizers, chicken salad, cucumber sandwiches and dessert items including old-fashioned caramels.
