Who We Are-
The Carol Stream
Historical Society
is comprised of volunteers who share the passion of preserving and
presenting
the history of the community.
What We Do-
The goal of the
Carol Stream Historical
Society is to preserve a remembrance of the dramatic development of the
area from the days of being a prairie through conversion to a farming
community
until the formation and progress of the Village as it exists today, and
to provide for the accumulation of artifacts and experiences well into
the next millennium.
HowWe Do It-
• Hold tours with
appointment
and on special event days
• Give presentation
to local schools
on community history
• Sponsor lectures
and exhibits
• Cooperate with
other organizations
that share our goals and concerns
• Endeavor to
archive and protect
surviving records and personal collections relating to Carol Stream |
